Who we are

Moseby Studio designs, builds and runs websites, brands and marketing for businesses. We are based in Los Angeles, California. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Moseby Studio, and "you" means anyone who visits this site or contacts us.

What we collect

What you send us. When you use the "Start a project" form, we receive what you enter:

• your name, business name and email address
• your phone number, if you give it
• your type of business, what you need, your current website and your message
• whether you agreed to receive text messages

How you found us. If you arrived through one of our links, the form also sends the tag in that link (for example ref or utm_campaign), the page you sent the form from, and the time you sent it. The site keeps that tag in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, so it isn't lost as you move between pages. It isn't a cookie, and nothing else reads it.

What our host sees. Like any website, this one is delivered by a server that receives your IP address and browser details with each request. Our host, Cloudflare, uses them to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We don't use them to identify you.

What we don't collect

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no ad pixels or social media trackers. Our fonts and films are served from our own site, not from third parties. We don't take payments on this site.

How we use your details

• to reply to your enquiry, set up a call and prepare a proposal
• to run the project if you become a client
• to see which of our links and campaigns bring enquiries
• to keep the business records we're required to keep

We email you about your enquiry and your project. We don't add you to a newsletter unless you ask to join one, and every marketing email we send has a one-click unsubscribe.

Text messages

We text you only if you tick "Text me about my project" on the form. Those messages are about your enquiry or project: replies, scheduling and reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of working with us.

We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your text-messaging opt-in data is shared only with the service providers that deliver the messages for us.

Who helps us handle your details

We use a small number of service providers. They handle your details only to provide their service to us:

• HighLevel: our customer database, where enquiries are stored and from which we send email and texts
• Cloudflare: hosts and protects this site
• Our email provider: receives and stores our email

We may also disclose details when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a buyer if our business is sold. We never sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details while we're in touch and for up to two years after our last contact, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as the relationship lasts and as long as tax and legal rules require.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what details we hold about you and give you a copy
• correct anything that's wrong
• delete your details
• stop emailing or texting you

California residents have these rights under California law, including the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

To make a request, email hello@mosebystudio.com or send a message through the project form. We may ask you to confirm details to check that the request comes from you, and we reply within 45 days.

Security

This site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to our customer database is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn that your details have been exposed, we'll tell you as the law requires.

Children

Our services are for businesses. This site isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their details. If you think a child has sent us details, contact us and we'll delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use details we already hold, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
